Learn by doing.
With mentor support.

Passively watching courses or YouTube videos won’t build your graphic design skills or confidence. Our practical course gets you creating what you need, and nothing more. Instead of just passively learning a few things, you’ll actively design things like newsletters, infographics and social images as you work through the course.

Learning something new should leave you feeling empowered. If you’re learning irrelevant things, and not actively using your new skills, you won’t gain momentum. The mentoring built into our programs* will keep you on track. We’ll make sure you’re learning what you need to learn, and we’ll keep you moving forward, with homework, feedback and Zoom calls.

*excludes the “Self Serve” option

What you’ll create

Below are examples of what you’ll create during the course. You’ll start slowly, editing existing social media images, maps, infographics, animations and more. Then, once you’re confident using the programs you’ll create them from scratch. Using the brand guidelines provided you can use your new graphic design skills and growing creative confidence to make similar assets for other brands too.

“I really enjoyed taking part in this bootcamp. I have learned so much from each module. It’s easy to follow and this is something that I will be going back to for future reference.”

— Gladdie Cabral, Social Media Assistant

“Peter's tutorials are fantastic. He speaks clearly and slowly so you have time to absorb what is being said, without feeling rushed and he takes the time to explain things to you so it doesn't feel that you are listening to a lot of gobbledygook”

— Donna Malec, Secretrary

“I’ve wanted to be a graphic designer for a very long time… I’ve been very impressed with the way Peter explains and demonstrates the basic functions of the Adobe packages. This gives a great foundation for you to build on.”

— Danielle White, Marketing Assistant

“Clear, concise and to the point. Easy to follow. I felt like I had accomplished something at the end so all good for me. I feel like I can learn this stuff after all”.

— Mary Louise Kairus, Virtual Assistant

“With your course I understand why I am learning about a specific aspect of designing, how I can apply it and also what more needs to happen on my end for mastery.”

— Lovely Edwards, The All Pink Everything Girls
& Education Legacy

“Having simple guidance to professional design has meant I’ve been able to up the game with presentation - without the luxury of a team of designers”.

— Hannah Clifford, Head of Development, LIFT

Learn graphic design theory and practice

Even if you know how to use the tools, that doesn’t mean your designs will look any good. And if you don’t know how to improve them, you’ll be stuck. You’ll end up spending way longer on projects than you need to, and often unhappy with the results at the end.

Our course includes modules on graphic design theory, so you’ll be able to say why you designed something the way you did, and have markers to measure your work against.

You’ll work through these ideally in order, as each module builds on the previous one.

At the end of each module there are multiple homework options for you, so you can apply your new skills and gain more experience.

  • In each section of the course you’ll be guided to design something for one of four brands that have been created for the course.

  • No. You can access the course anytime after you’ve bought it. But the mentoring only lasts for 3 months from the date of purchase.

  • We advise mentoring, as you’ll learn much more than you will on your own. But it’s not compulsory (and cheaper without).

  • You’ll get specific feedback on any homework you create, to help you further develop your design skills.

Feedback is either by email or Zoom, depending on which course you choose (“Mentored – Email ” or “Mentored – Zoom”).

Should you want additional mentoring after 3 months have expired, you can request to purchase more.

  • The Bespoke course is designed for individuals or small teams who have a specific learning goal or project to work on.
